Tribex Gold from Biotest Review
Product Name: Tribex Gold from Biotest
Price: 3/5
Effectiveness: 3/10
Overall: 6/15
Tribex Gold is a tub of tablets that promise to boost your testosterone levels by increasing the amount of testosterone your body naturally releases. I read about the product on T-Nation and decided to give it a go after reading a very exagerated and biased review on the site (T-Nation is owned by Biotest... or the other way round I don't remember).
So what did I make of it? Basically it's a pointless waste of money as a bodybuilding aid. That seems pretty damning verdict but I think it's pretty fair. 99.9% of people would be wasting their time with testosterone boosting tablets. Having taken them for several months I saw no noticeable difference in... anything. That's to say I didn't get 'spottier' as some people warned, I didn't get 'hairier' which could make sense, I didn't get a 'bigger boner' as the guy on T-nation claimed and most importantly I didn't notice any strength or endurance gains. I didn't even notice a change in my mood.
Having read around and talked to people on the matter I found out that chances were I was producing as much testosterone as I could at my young age, and that most adults are too. If you're fifty then this might have some benefits but we're certainly not talking Growth Hormone or Steroid style improvements. Also, if you are old and find you're lacking in testosterone, the doctor will most likely prescribe you something different and more suited to your condition and you might even be able to get it on the NHS without forking out £20 for 3 weeks worth of tablets.
This review seems pretty harsh but I feel it needs to be to counteract a lot of sales bull that's out there. Sure it probably works technically, scientifically, philosophically, grammatically maybe even... but you don't need it. No you don't.
Ah I feel good now, I've done my bit for mankind!
